College Students – The backbone of America’s future. We are next in line into the workforce. We are soon going to be getting jobs, buying houses, and starting our own lives. Us college students have such a bright future ahead of us, and we are (hopefully) filled with a vast amount of knowledge in a field that we are passionate about.
So, why do we all suck at handling money?
Okay, I shouldn’t say all of us… Some of us college students can hold our own!
However, this millennial craze of being “proud” to be broke, spending money on stupid things noone actually needs *cough cough – iPhone X*, eating out ten times a day, etc., has really given us all a bad reputation!
It’s the truly wise college students – ones that have a clear vision and understanding of their future – that know exactly how to live while they are in school to optimize their finances for a successful future (even if it sucks).
The best part about our frugal suffering? Anyone can implement the college student lifestyle to help the achieve their financial goals!
What is LACS? Well, besides being a cheesy acronym I came up with, it’s a mini-series to help give everyone a glimpse of what it’s like to truly live Like A College Student (get it?). What can you expect from LACS?
I am going to give a detailed glimpse into my life as well as the lives of so many others who embrace the concept of living like a college student. Food, clothing, entertainment – you name it, I’ll cover it. It’s not generalized statements – it’s real-life, practical advice that anyone can use – whether you’re a freshman in college or just moved in with your significant other.
I hope you’re as excited as I am about this new series! I plan to have a lot of fun with it, and I hope you’ll enjoy reading it!
I’m going to kick the series off with something that I think we can all agree is pretty awesome – food! Stay tuned, because it’s on the way! In the meantime, check out of my favorite content I’ve come up with!
